Get to know me…

Hello! I’m Marie, your virtual assistant, but I have been dubbed “The Finder” by my Bible Study group because I can find Bible verses and passages with great speed and efficiency. Finding information through research and searching for discrepancies or inaccuracies in data makes me giddy with excitement!

I live in central Minnesota, near the farm where I grew up.  I am active in my church, and love curling up with a good book or busily writing my own novels that I am working on in my spare time!  I also enjoy crafts such as pixel mosaics, diamond art, and crocheting.

I have had a life-long love of learning, and teaching.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Psychology as well as a Master’s degree in English with a concentration in Composition, both from North Dakota State University.  As a Language Arts teacher, I taught Literature and Writing to a variety of different middle school and high school grade levels.   I also taught college level Composition classes for a few years. 

Teaching allowed me to practice many skills such as various forms of communication, multitasking, time management, collaboration, confidentiality, preparing reports, planning and executing lessons, and being flexible.  In addition, I have several years of experience as a Technology Consultant managing databases, data entry, invoicing, and proofreading and editing.  

I have a knack for noticing the little details and I always strive for excellence in all that I do.  I am passionate about helping others and meeting their needs. 

I am here to come alongside you, get to know you and your business’s unique needs, and take some things off your plate so that you can have the freedom to be creative and grow your business.
